Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25, 1954, Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. She was able to survive by surviving on a student stipend, as she worked part-time. Lennox did not feel content with her abilities compared to other students at the Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox began her career in the year 1976 when she joined the band Dragons Playground. However, she left shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. From 1977 until 1980 she was lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop band. There she made friends with Dave Stewart who would later create Eurythmics. Lennox was working on her own first album Diva. It came out in 1993. It was a massive critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. This C.D.
