Maureen Denise McCormick is the one child, and the youngest daughter of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5th of 1956, in Woodland Hills. Her mother was also a homemaker. Michael Dennis Kevin, one of her siblings. McCormick was a talented artist and dancer since an early age. She would perform puppet shows to the kids in the neighborhood she lived in. When she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of six, Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency approached her to ask whether she wanted to go into the showbiz. McCormick was hired for her first role of note in 1964. McCormick appeared in a Mattel commercial that featured her doll Baby Pattaburp. In the same year, she starred in a commercial for"the "Chatty Catherine" doll, and she was then cast to perform the show called Wind It up And It is Broken. McCormick auditioned for a role in 'The Brady Bunch.' She was chosen from more than 200 other kids to play the larger of the twins on the TV program The Brady Bunch. Florence Henderson was the lead character as newlyweds as well as Robert Reed, the blended family. The show ran for five years and the show proved to be a huge great success. McCormick revealed, in the book that was published in 2008, entitled"Here's My Story: How I Survived Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice, she revealed that Barry Williams was her screen brother. He was just 19. She was just 16. She claimed that "it would have happened" however the timing was not just right.
